Seafood Traineeship
NGT Tasmania and their valued client have an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to start their career in the seafood industry. The successful applicant will be undertaking a Certificate III in Seafood Industry (Seafood Processing) based on Hobart’s Constitution Dock.
Duties will Include:
- Preparation of fish to a high standard for sale to the general public
- Preparation of fish to a high standard for sale to restaurants
- Managing Stock, including rotation of fish, icing of fish and storing of fish to maintain it’s high quality.
- Picking Ups and Deliveries
The Successful applicant must:
- Be physically fit (Pre Employment medical will be conducted)
- Have a current drivers licence
- Be able to work well in a team
- Be able to adhere to strict OHS regulations
- Have a passion for the seafood industry and wanting to make it a career
